AWARD | Red Dot Design Award 2025
The customer magazine ATLAS, published by Austrian logistics group Gebrüder Weiss, won the award in the Publishing and Print Media category. The award went to büro uebele, which was responsible for the design. Miriam Holzapfel wrote the texts and I took all the photos, except for those in the introduction. I took photos on the subject of materials in the company’s huge warehouses. The brief was to find images of materials used in the transport industry, such as asphalt, concrete, foil, diesel, oil, coffee, etc. I had complete freedom in the design of my images. The award-winning büro uebele chose to design the magazine with split double pages. The texts are printed on narrower pages, German on the front, English on the back, and these are placed between the double pages. Where necessary. Surprising and works great.
